Our Story
In September 1979, Roberto Bizzocchi (founder) was in Via Tornabuoni in Florence to start selling his new cosmetic Brand. He was about to meet his first customer, trying to sell more an idea than a real product, with only a catalogue that spoke of a brand yet unnamed. Before entering the salon, he took a coin and went into a phone booth to call his wife, Tiziana Pezzolesi (founder) who worked on creating the new brand. He asked her: “Well? What do we call ourselves?” She instinctively answered: “EVAGARDEN!” Roberto met with the potential customer and said for the first time: “Our brand is called EVAGARDEN” With surprise, the customer replied: “Yes, I think I’ve heard it before…” The name was a success. EVAGARDEN WAS BORN.
